So we have been looking at flights on STA and we found some pretty cheap flights with Air New Zealand for around $990 to $1066. I went into the travel agent after my exam at Uni and found out for me, Alice, Gemma and Jessie we can get flights from Sydney to LA for $1080 which is really good and the cheapest that you will find for leaving the country.
So those flight are getting held till Wednesday to pay our tickets..Luckily I have money for it but I'm going to Melbourne so have to use some of my savings for then, and then use my pay I get Tuesday afternoon to pay the rest of the ticket.
Today however Gemma told us that she doesnt want to travel to NYC with us over new york so that means we might have to rethink our ticket bookings.
So instead of flying SYD-LAX and paying for domestic BRIS-SYD we will check out the flights from BRIS- LAX direct and it will most likely be about the same price or even probably well hopefully cheaper. I have emailed the travel agent so we will see what she says! Hopefully there is still some cheap good seats on the BRIS-LAX flight with Air New Zealand!
Still gonna be a good trip tho just have to plan things a little differently than what we were gonna do! Im glad the change of plans happened before Wednesday or before any of us actually paid anything on the SYD-LAX held flight!

Official start date & Pre-Travels
So found out this week that I will officially be starting at Disney world on the 7th January 2012 and will finish there on the 4th January 2013! Soo good...a bit earlier than expected but happy its sooner rather than later!
So this means instead of flying out the January 2nd Me and including some lovely girls Gemma, Jessie and Alice will be flying to LA on the 27th December soo excited!
We all have kinda started planning that we will go to LA for a few days till the 30th December then make our way to NYC from the 30th till the 4th of January and have NYE in NYC!!! I know soo cool and would have never thought in the beginning of the year I would possibly be there at the end of 2011 so happy! From NYC with the blessing of the weather (hopefully no snow storms/ blizzards keeping us in NYC) we will make our way to Orlando and and be there for a few days, do some exploring and be ready to start at Disney on the 7th January and ready for all our training!
Well need to continue studying still have 2 exams left then all I have to think about is Disney, the planning of everything and working as much as I can to get money's!

Acceptance & Excitement
So on the 1st of June I got accepted for the Disney World international Program from Jan 2012 to Jan 2012!!
Leading up to the day I was researching everything and anything relating to Disney and telling about everyone I could that I might be working at Disney world in 2012.
When the day came I think I checked my email a million times and finally the email came through saying that I had been accepted to work at Walt Disney world and I have been offered the position of Lifegaurd & operations!! Soo happy, I was kinda expecting I would be getting lifegaurd so pretty happy. A whole new experience for me which will provide me with so much insight into something I have not really done before. This does mean tho allot of hours in the gym getting ready for the swim test before we start training for the role and ensuring I am ready.
Operations will be for the second part of the year where I will be either in attractions/ main gate - either one will be pretty kool!
STB who organises the trip with Disney has a facebook page and basically everyone who has been accepted has joined up and all the AUS/NZ guys have created a page for when we leave. Everyone is soo firicken excited which is great because everyone is feeling the same way, have a million questions, cant wait to leave and all wanna do everything american! Its good also coz you get to meet some people already before you leave and know who in Brisbane is also going in Jan.
Now just gotta focus on all of my exams and study hard without getting to distracted with next year (which is really hard)! Will all be worth it when I graduate and then get ready for an amazing year in America!
